Getting started on our journey at MorFIT is easy! We have over 50 group classes to choose from and over 100 weight and cardio machines for your use. All classes are open to MorFIT Members to attend. CORE STRENGTH / HIIT : Shadia @ MorFIT Gym

WHAT IS Core Strength? This  class  is ideal for everyone!  Core training will strengthen your abs, glutes, and back muscles to reduce the risk of lumbar strain whilst improving tone, strength and stability through the abdominals and back.

HIIT class / High Intensity Interval Training A total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning  workout. This interval-based  class  combines full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind before the busy days get started.

LES MILLS CORE (CXWORX) : Amelia @ MorFIT Gym

CXWORX   is a 30-minute total core workout using body weight exercises as well as resistance bands and weight plates to target your abs, obliques, hips, glutes, upper back, and lower back. All the moves have options so it’s challenging but achievable for your own level of fitness. Functional training at its finest to give you a strong core that makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favorite sports.

Now is the time to expect a positive and encouraging atmosphere to break free from your comfort zone, test your limits, and strive to reach a new level of fitness.

Michele Jacobs Zaiderman is a Certified Indoor Cycle Instructor, Schwinn Certified, Madd Dog/Spinning Trained

Indoor cycling with Michele is a low-impact high intensity cardio workout. Cycling also works your core and lower body muscles (glutes, hamstrings, quads, calves & shins). One of  her favorite aspects of indoor cycling is that participants are in control of their own intensity & speed–so indoor cycling is for all levels of fitness.

BodyPump : Anna R. @ MorFIT Gym

Zumba with  Leslie is a fun and energetic, dance fitness class. She enjoys adding diverse music and routines that target specific muscles/areas of the body. She takes pride in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where you can dance out the stress, reach your goals, and burn a lot of calories! Modifications for different levels of intensity are also taught to students so  that  you can move  at your own pace. It is important to note, that you do not have to be a “dancer” to take part in her class, anyone and everyone is welcome!

Gentle Yoga : Melanie @ MorFIT Gym

Gentle Yoga with Melanie is a class for students who are new to yoga or who prefer a slower-paced class that combines strengthening and stretching. Focus is on body awareness, alignment principles, moving with the breath, and an introduction to Yoga philosophy.

Melanie Psaltakis is a Certified AFAA Primary Group Exercise Instructor and Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), with over 2500 teaching hours. She’s also completed the 100-hour YogaFit Warrior Program (trauma-sensitive specialty) and 108-hour Anusara Yoga Immersion Program.

BodyPump : Helaine @ MorFIT Gym

Vinyasa Flow Yoga : Dorinda @ MorFIT Gym

Vinyasa Yoga  is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.  A flow practice that’s lighthearted in spirit, strong on alignment and breathing. Vinyasa Yoga helps to develop a more balanced body as well as prevent repetitive motion injuries that can happen if you are always doing the same thing every day.

Cycling : Jeannine @ MorFIT Gym

Jeanine cycling class is a well thought cycle-specific out workout with a different objective each week. She works in the five different training zones and explore how the body responds to each. The music is especially selected to provide motivation and the proper cadence for the work being done.

Jeanine always come prepared with a different plan each week. You will never get bored by doing the same routine week after week, and you will continue to make gains.

Zumba : Carol @ MorFIT Gym

Zumba workout with Carol combines fun, high-energy dance moves with more traditional exercises like squats and arm curls. Throughout the routine, moves are performed to upbeat music selections, including merengue, salsa, mambo, flamenco and hip-hop. The tempo alternates between slow and fast, and most classes begin with a warm-up session and finish with a cool-down period. Silver Sculpt! : Paulina @ MorFIT Gym

Please join  Paulina  and your fellow MorFIT Members for our weekly Silver Sculpting class. This group class is designed to help seniors improve mobility, flexibility and understand the basics of strength development. Paulina will work closely with you to ensure that you feel comfortable  with the exercises. Beginners can start the class in a chair and get comfortable with the basics of strength development. For those more advanced this class is a great way to reaffirm your technique, fundamentals and have fun with your fellow MorFIT Members. You’re never too young or old to start.
